Mindfulness based hypnosis is a unique combination of clinical hypnotherapy, cognitive therapy, NLP and consciousness-training techniques.

It's very different from long-term counselling. Instead of spending week after week analysing your problem or goal, I’ll be working to help you make changes from your very first session.  

The specific approach I use will vary according to your particular needs, but the primary psychological skills I'll be helping you to develop are:

  • Creating space to think, and freedom to choose how you react. Instead of getting caught up in thoughts, feelings, and knee-jerk reactions, you’ll learn to deal with life with a calmer, cooler head.
  • Being kinder and more supportive towards yourself. Rather than beating yourself up or being overly self-critical, you’ll learn how to be more compassionate and encouraging towards yourself.
  • Connecting with your strengths. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by insecurity or self-doubt, you’ll be able to deeply connect with your strengths as a human being, so that you start to feel much more capable and determined.
Learning how to apply these three core skills is a tremendously effective way of dealing with any problem or issue, and they have proved invaluable to me in my own life, as well as to the thousands of people I have treated over the years.

Once you apply these skills to the particular problem you've been experiencing, you'll find you can immediately start to free yourself from the thoughts and emotional patterns that have been keeping you stuck.

In each session I'll also guide you into a deeply relaxed, hypnotic state, where you can vividly rehearse how you want to be behaving differently in the future, so that it becomes second nature for you to do so.

Each session lasts an hour and a half. Many issues can be completely dealt with in two to three sessions and few need more than five.
